About This Web Site

By Wayne Jackson

Our main objective in developing the online edition of the Christian Courier is to create a unique library of information that can help strengthen Christians by supplying quality, biblically-sound materials that easily are accessible.

While there are many web sites that offer the basic plan of salvation, and reach out to the lost, our goal has been to remain focused on the second part of the Great Commission—to further the education of Christians.

But in attempting to do this, we have reached a far wider audience than we ever anticipated. Hundreds of people are visiting our web site every day —those in the body of Christ, and those who are not. Even atheists and other advocates of skepticism frequent our domain.

There is one thing that all of our visitors share in common -even the unbelievers. Everyone who visits the Christian Courier is looking for something - something spiritual in nature. They are looking for answers to the greatest questions that issue from the mind of man. They are looking for the reasons and purposes of life. They are looking for truth.

This commonality is what sets the Christian Courier apart from other forms of evangelism. There is no other method of presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ that even comes close, in terms of financial efficiency, as that of the World Wide Web.

During 2003, the Christian Courier web site:

has had more than 756,000 visitors
has had more than 1.7 million pages viewed
has made contact with over 150 different countries

Many other forms of sowing the seed are useful, and they have their place. But none can compare with the reach of the internet.

A recent newspaper article states there are now over 459 million people with internet access world-wide. And every one of them can access well-researched, conservative studies in God’s word at the Christian Courier web site.

Just browse through our “Archives”, study our “Feature Articles”, sign on every Tuesday for a new article.

You will see just how deep and valuable this library is. And what a bargain. All of this research is available for free by simply accessing our site.

While the material on the web site is free, it is not without cost to someone. This work would not be possible without the generous assistance of the Lord’s people who have an interest in evangelism. It is to them we owe a great deal of gratitude; it would not be possible without you!

Some religious web sites boast about large numbers of visitors. But many of these sites have features such as musical greeting cards, pages to color, “Christian” music, etc. While some of these may serve a useful purpose, the Christian Courier has none of these.

Our goal is to remain focused on a teaching ministry that provides educational opportunities in God’s word.

Are you a person who appreciates the value of our site? As a fellow-Christian, would you consider helping us in this worthy effort of reaching those who are not members of Christ’s church?

We need your help. If you can assist us on a sustained, monthly basis. Please consider this as a part of your teaching outreach. Since Christian Courier Publications is recognized as a tax-exempt, non-profit 501©(3), your contributions are tax deductible.

God bless you.
